AboutPwC Diversity — What is the business value of diversity?
In a global company as large as PwC, it can take a lot to break through and affect cultural behavior — but that is exactly what Plaid was asked to do. While PwC is rated fourth among DiversityInc’s top ten companies, it still works to proactively instill this value into its culture. Plaid created a weeklong immersion program on the business value of cultural dexterity: how to understand, appreciate, and benefit from the individual and cultural differences between team members and clients. Each day was supported with themed online events: an interactive tool that illustrated lessons on behavioral habits in the typical meeting room, a live town-hall with PwC leadership to answer candid questions, and an Ideas Marketplace where staff could contribute their own ideas on how PwC can reach its goal of 100% cultural dexterity.
