Kinross Cashmere — From high-end white label to luxury brand.

Kinross Cashmere came to Plaid for help in transforming into a luxury fashion brand. In our exploration, we uncovered a brand story rooted in 200 years of Scottish tradition. We used this story to inspire a new identity, a new collections approach to their business, and thoughtful ways to present their garments as items of luxury.

In keeping with the handcrafted traditions of Kinross, we handcrafted some innovations too. Small things count in the luxury world. Labels shouldn’t shout at you, neck tags shouldn’t scratch, and hang tags should be easy to remove. The new brand continues to successfully increase sales year on year.
