HeForShe — Unlocking everyone's potential

At this year’s World Economic Forum, PwC made a commitment to accelerate momentum toward gender equality in the workplace by becoming a foundational partner in the United Nation’s HeForShe initiative. Kicked off by UN Women goodwill ambassador Emma Watson, the goal of HeForShe is to engage men and boys as agents of change for the achievement of gender equality and women's rights, by encouraging them to take action against negative inequalities faced by women and girls.

Plaid's role was to help rally the organization around this enormous and exciting gender-based UN partnership undertaken by PwC and inspire the vast PwC community to enthusiastically take its principles to heart by acting on them. We were also asked to develop a way to powerfully communicate PwC’s commitment to this important initiative to the world at large via its website.

At the heart of PwC’s point of view is the idea that gender equality unlocks everyone’s full potential. The campaign launched with a global call-to-action from PwC leadership, a bold internal campaign presence, and a PwC + HeForShe site to inspire deeper engagement. Days after launch, over 5,000 PwC employees had made their HeForShe pledges, including 100% of PwC’s global leadership team.
